Dubai Islands is an offshore master-planned development comprising five interconnected islands located along Dubai's northern coastline, directly opposite historic Deira and the entrance to Dubai Creek. Originally known as Palm Deira and later Deira Islands, the project was officially relaunched under its current master plan in August 2022.
The development is managed by master developer Nakheel, a member of Dubai Holding. Spanning approximately 17 to 18.6 square kilometres, the master plan includes over 20 kilometres of beaches and is divided into five themed zones: Central Island, Shore Island, Golf Island, Marina Island, and Elite Island.
Currently under phased construction, the islands feature operational resorts, retail markets, and public beaches, alongside ongoing residential projects ranging from low-rise beach houses and villas to high-rise apartments and branded residences.
