Al Ghadeer is a residential community on the eastern edge of Abu Dhabi emirate, beside the E11 near the Dubai border. It was launched by Sorouh Real Estate in 2007 and passed to Aldar when the two companies merged. The original community had more than 2,000 homes by 2018. That year Aldar announced a revised master plan for the wider Seih Sdeirah land bank, with about 14,408 villas, townhouses and maisonettes to be delivered in phases over about 15 years.

Aldar gives about 20 minutes to Expo City Dubai, Dubai Parks and Resorts and Palm Jebel Ali, and notes proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport.
